Event Overview

We were tasked with crafting a distinguished Gala Dinner for the French Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, attended by 600 esteemed guests, including political figures, local socialites, celebrities, and top executives. The Gala is the Chamber’s most prestigious event of the year, celebrating the cultural ties between Hong Kong and France.

The client requested a theme that would showcase French culture and the art de vivre. In response, we developed the theme of “Illumination,” based on the key message of the year, “light.” The concept centered around light as an internal source of knowledge and creativity, symbolizing human progress and enlightenment.

The Guest Journey: An Immersive Light Experience

From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed into an immersive light experience. They entered through an elegant photo corridor, capturing their first memorable moments of the evening.

The foyer featured a cocktail reception where guests could relax and network while enjoying drinks at a bar equipped with glowing props and served by skilled bartenders.

Upon entering the ballroom, guests were amazed by the “lighting raindrop ceiling” made of glowing acrylic sticks. This stunning installation transformed the venue into a luminous river of light. As the night continued, we arranged a mesmerizing light violin and drum dance performance, where the lighting and stage visuals dynamically responded to the rhythm of the performance, creating an ever-changing atmosphere.

To enhance the ambiance, fresh flower centerpieces adorned each table, elegantly intertwined with light strings, adding a warm and inviting glow to the space.
